28-days and More

Hi,

If you read the last couple of emails, you know that I made three 28-day commitments.  All are now nearing the end of the original container.  All are also extending in some way.  Because they’ve been so nourishing and feel so closely aligned with the expansion that I’m stepping into.

In case you missed it – my first commitment was to do a program with my coach, the Prosperous Creative, which is all about expanding my capacity to be financially prosperous.  I’ve been on that journey for a good decade now, and it’s had so many gifts.

Did you know that whatever calling you receive or desire part of the gift of it is who you need to become to reach it?

I’m experiencing that over and over.

The second commitment was to a journey with nourishment, specifically food, and working with letting go of the residue of addictive/numbing patterns.  I let go of the “big” compulsions years ago, but dependence on sugar, alcohol and all things gluten has sneaked back in as methods of escape from uncomfortable feelings or as energy or emotion boosts.

Can you relate?

It’s not that enjoying those foods is bad; it’s just that Life wants me to live all of it, even the uncomfortable parts.  Which strangely, brings more joy and delight too.

The third commitment I’ve made is to myself, but it came out of the synergy—the alchemy one might say—of the other two.

And perhaps in reality, it’s a commitment to the greater work that wants to come through me, my calling, my soul, the Divine, God, Love. I don’t know what words to use for this bigger-than-me force anymore.

Perhaps it’s also a commitment to you, and to my clients and future clients – everyone who will come in contact with my company, Thriving for Equity.

I’m not sure how to describe this commitment exactly, but the images associated with it are rich, dark soil, the living ground underneath winter trees, a dark womb, a warm night with a breeze that wraps around you like a hug and whispers.

“Hush, stay here.  Just listen.”

It’s a going deep invitation.  It’s a downward and inward energy.

And it makes no sense.  Not when I have a new group coaching program that’s “launching” at the end of February and so many other THINGS TO DO!

Well, we shall see.  The dark is calling me.  And I’m going deeper in.

The Feel Better. Do Better. Group Program — which I am so excited about — will be nourished and nurtured there in the mystery of this time.

And I shall also keep taking actions.  Every day.  Sometimes scary and uncomfortable ones, to invite in the people who are meant to be part of this very special community.

Because being human is all of it.  The connection with Source/Spirit/Nature/Mystery.  And living with a mind that likes to trick us into avoiding the very things that will lead us towards what we desire and who we came here to be.  And being in a body that sometimes needs a nap and sometimes needs to get up and run.

Keeps things interesting, doesn’t it?

Here’s to thriving and equity, going deep and taking action,

Deb

P.S.  We added a BONUS SESSION to the Financial Thriving Series – a Q&A with me and Joyce Washington, who will lead the BIPOG (Black, Indigenous and People of the Global Majority) affinity groups in the Feel Better Do Better Group.  So if you have questions about moving forward with money or want to learn more about how we can support you to move forward into your WHOLE BIG BEAUTIFUL LIFE.  Come join us. You can still sign up here.

Do you want to host a Feel Better. Do Better. book event in your very own home, or would you like to bring together a group of friends virtually?

I love connecting with people at small, informal gatherings and I’m not opposed to traveling if I can make the budget work for it.  And usually one of the co-authors decides to join me as well.  It’s a lot of fun and you’re giving people in your life the gift of feeling more joy and meeting new companions for their journey.

What’s better than that?

If this intrigues you, reply to this email, and let's chat to see what we come up with.

Now take a peek at a few photos from last week's book signing event...
